I always look at benchmarks performance to price ratios when building my pcs. Typically end up paying only 30% or a prebuilt system all things considered.
My 5 yo machine only needs $700 worth of upgrades to complete with the top dogs. It still won’t be in the top performance tiers but those differences are typically negligible.

Any device purchased during the last ten years does not require a complete change, but only some parts have been changed and it will perform better
Yes. I only really need about $330 in video upgrade to bring my rig up to date. Or about $700 or so if I want to upgrade board/ram/cpu
