I use the #pomodoro method for productivity. I don't use todoist as a productivity tool. It was not my style. **The best tool is the one that fits with your workflow and organizational style (i.e. the one you will actually use)**.
I used #Workflowy for years before switching to privacy-first #Logseq (it's like Workflowy on steroids!) + a free self-hosted instance of #Nextcloud with Nextcloud Deck for team collaboration projects.
Both are free and open source. Logseq also has a premium version with features like Sync and Whiteboards.
