This was part of the thesis as to why having true decentralization ethos / tactics from the start is necessary for any decentralized system to actually be... decentralized.

You can't use fake marketing & then expect me to not want you to go down - if the SEC didn't exist - something else would, for the sole purpose of taking down con artists.

Very human in it's action with all these outright Ponzi schemes.

I guess first off i'm going to say thank you for making me need to step back and think before i replied off the cuff and sounded like a total twat. Ive had on some thick blinders it seems recently.

Ill agree that in our current system, whether it was the SEC or some other body, yeah, something needed to take him down.

I guess my frustration comes from that just becasue the SEC did one arguably drcent thing, does not mean they are "on our side" the SEC is ultimately our (bitcoiners) enemy. At least if we are moving twords a future where fiat dies. It just seems short sighted. I dunno.
