I’ve decided to cancel my monthly #X premium subscription and support #Nostr instead.

I believe in Nostr more than X so it makes no sense for me to continue a sub with them.

I’ve always felt more at home here on Nostr. Engagements are authentic and fun. There’s no algo I have to work against.

On X, I feel like I’m throwing darts at a dartboard, hoping one of my posts sticks. And most of the time, that process is a bust. It seems that unless you’re shitposting or engagement farming, no one cares on X. Verifieds are just trying to get paid.

I don’t want to spend hard earned money to participate in that anymore. I will still have a presence on X. Just no longer verified. Maybe one day that will change.

I’m going with #Damus #Purple today to support a protocol and client I genuinely care about. It changed my life. ✌🏻
