Hmmm… randomly started working now. Strange…
I’ve been experimenting with nostr:npub1whtn0s68y3cs98zysa4nxrfzss5g5snhndv35tk5m2sudsr7ltms48r3ec and there’s a bunch of things I find REALLY frustrating… current issue is it doesn’t like to play airgapped with a local only relay. Because you can’t define the relays before creating an account, it doesn’t work.
A lot of captive portals let you use NTP without authenticating, I guess it’s so your clock is correct for SSL or something. But if you run wireguard on your server on port 123, and connect to it, it’s tends to let you though. Plus wireguard is UDP too (like NTP) so there isn’t even a protocol mismatch. 😁
I have a wireguard instance set up on one of my servers running on port 123, usually lets you connect to the VPN on public WiFi without going through the captive portal since most allow NTP through 🤭
Now my mobile #meshtastic device is MagSafe 🤣👍

It was more just to build one. My original plan was to build a loop antenna for HF, got a big coil of flat steel randomly the other day.

Got for it, seems to be the trend at the moment. BLE for Damus in airplane mode ✈️
I like the NSD that I worked on earlier this year, the LNBits project on GitHub. Then you don’t need to trust apps with your key, it’s in a hardware device that only signs stuff when you click on it to confirm. Most of the time it’s off.
When I went back to Damus and added them there, it deleted them in White noise. Obviously some differing in approach. I’m going to use a test nsec (I’m learning) tomorrow on my zap.watch relay and see how it mangles the profile note.
