Bitcoiners should not coexist with TradFi participants. Bitcoiners need to raise their consciousness levels beyond fear and greed which are the primary engines running the TradFi system. Bitcoin runs on the rails of love and inclusiveness. It is the opposite of fear and greed. Once you have self awareness that transcends fear and greed, you will bifurcate from the TradFi system and smoothly feel the escape velocity to move onto a parallel earth. You will then experience abundance and freedom.
aren't you supporting the system that decided that what they did was wrong by signing the petition?
In what possible way would that be what’s happening here? It’s a website that does little more than show that there is popular support for someone that they can use for their defense and to bring attention to a judge who may see their appeal or recognize the injustice for the case. Interpreting it as anything else is silly.
The guy is about to spend 5 years in prison for harming no one and building good software. Being picky about “what website” you choose to post a statement on to share that this was fucked up is a total waste of time and matters exactly none to those being wrongly imprisoned.
i didn't say anything about a website. i guess you believe in democracy?
(nothing wrong if you believe in it, just saying in case you get offended by the question)
Not even close, democracy is little more than mob rule (i'm not sure how that relates to signing a petition), but i do think that if 100K people say something is a gross injustice, that it is far more likely to get attention and maybe have a chance of being corrected. It was the case for nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj76rfwd6zumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcpr9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrwwp5hsetvwvhxxmmd9uqzqzyyxmxs88lcjp6ydr7nylav7cncfm4nwjgwpggc4w03fjwjv3kvuyqxun
100%
it feels like asking the ruler to rule differently — i might be wrong
It’s simply stating as a group, “you fucked up, you’re wrong, and we know it.”
I promise, if no noise is made, nothing is signed, no emails are sent, no phones bothered, and no politicians or judges shamed, they will rot in jail for the entire allotted time without any pushback. The *smallest* thing we can do is publicly show our disapproval.
Yes but tbey aren't seeing how much more we want to do. Doing this feels like a kick in the nuts.
A fucking change dot org petition on nostr? You've gotta be joking. Holy shit cypherpunk is dead.
OH NO SOMEONE LINK TO PETITION , CYPHERPUNK DEF NOT SO BAD MUCH NORMIE!
Go eat a dick, seriously you self important moron. It’s the least you could do for Koenne instead of beating your chest and pretending you’re a “cooler cypherpunk” because you literally didn’t do shit
You should do a show on the economics of exactly how this helps because I don't see it. The game is rigged.
It doesn't make a difference; you just add yourself to a watchlist and honeypot for hackers to make yourself feel significant.
Signing petitions and protest marches help maintain the "government of the people" myth being used against you.
#democracy = #idiocracy
A lot of people seem to need a video or more proof signing this is a better use of their time than telling you it is a waste of time (or just ignoring it.)
So I thought I would drop in Ross 0:20. Seems like a reliable source to me but idk.
