Easier said than done
People don't understand that is not something that you just find....you have to show up also and choose it.
Well, I've mostly found just delusional idiots. I don't know where all the good people are at. I have only found one decent person in my life that I could actually trust and had good connection with.
Long term relationships are kind of fundamentally stupid too though. Like if you look old couples, they often hate each others almost as much as they love. People are inherently imperfect so relationships become these love-hate relationships very quickly. None of the magic can persist either and what ever excitement there is, it will eventually fade away. Not saying that relationships are all bad but just kind of stupid too.
Allow me to agree to disagree.
Most romantic relationships in the world are based not on love but on a trade agreement. I give you this and in exchange you give me that.
Hate is not the opposite of love. The opposite of love is indifference.
Love is to be present. If you are not present, you are not coming from a place of love, but of indifference.
What you give us what you get.
If you want love you must first become it.
Because in this real we don't get what we want but what we are.
Connections based on pure love do exist and are magical. Excitement is not something that exists all the time. As humans, and how our biological body works, we could not cope with excitement all the time. We would crush. There must be balance.
Is our responsibility, shared responsibility, to birth it inside a connection and not expect always others to bring it to us, or for it to magical happen.
I have a very profound bond with a couple of friends, and trust me, the magic and excitement never fades...lol either comes from me, when the others are down, or comes from them, when I am down. No one expects anything forthe other we just truly are happy when we meet and make the best out of it. Even if just sitting in silence when we too tired or in need of pause.
