You mean using naddr instead noteid?
Yep, when events are replaceable, all interactions shift to the naddr tag. The event is becomes irrelevant
adding a QR code to scan people's public keys should be really easy and a quick win

You mean now it's harder to keep track of references when you reference a replaceable event?
Yep. Everything in Amethyst was linked back to hex-formatted event IDs. Now we have to use both hex keys and a tags to find events everywhere.
Like, when you click on a thread, if the event is non-replaceable, it goes by the event id as usual. But if the event is replaceable, it has to merge all replies, zaps, reports, boosts, quotes, etc that cited the a tag instead.
I can see the problem. If it makes you feel better, it's likely that all clients will suffer 🤣
