Has anyone implemented a simple nostr client/relay pair that _don't_ use websockets? I get that this wouldn't be inter-operable with the rest of the nostr ecosystem, but for ..reasons.. I'd like to try something out without websockets.

I know I know I can just write my own tiny relay and little web client, but if someone has already done it it'll save me a half hour.
