I think most people that run knots are also in support of mining pool decentralization. Unfortunately, filters work in opposition to mining pool decentralization because they are not relaying transactions that are included in blocks. This can slow block propagation to the smaller mining pools putting them further behind the large pools which effectively have global block propagation subnets.

This is the result of mining being centralised in the first place, not a result of more strict relay policies. It’s like blaming the rape victim for the rape.
