Proof of work means you have to work.

Whether they know it or not, citizens of the western world in Europe and America are afraid of this statement.

I think what the western world would rather have is a claim on everyone else's work, like we have had for the last 80 years.

I don't think anyone in the west including myself has a clue what it would mean for the productive countries of the world to refuse our claim on their goods.

Bitcoin will flow to the real producers, as we trade it for real goods we want. That means if America had all the bitcoin today, but stays a net consumer, then it all flows to the net producers that we are buying goods from like China and Mexico.

Whoever owns the means of production will eventually own all the money. (Cantillion effect)

What the west needs to work on is to increase our means of production, decrease our spending, create local circular economies and accept bitcoin from all over the world for these goods.

Any dollar claims on goods around the world will fail sooner than you think and bitcoin or another more dystopian global currency will be all that's accepted.

This is the sad irony of having the dollar reserve. It has made Americans fat and lazy (literally) and many have no clue how to provide for themselves anymore. Even those with jobs are often in make-work careers which will evaporate in the next decade. Many are in for a very rude awakening.
