I think it depends on the age, right? Because I work at a preschool and when a kid has an accident (which is pretty often) we have to help them get dressed in the bathroom, which is shared with the other kids in the same classroom. (It’s a long room with 4 tiny stalls without doors and high cabinets for their clothes). The other kids never mind and neither those the accident kid lol but they do laugh at each other’s butts often lol

I suppose it does. This was in the actual classroom though, not a bathroom. And it was everyone in the class which is about 15-20 kids all around 4-6 years old. I remember as little babies they had to change him on changing tables but the other little babies of course don’t know or see that lol I think we underestimate how impactful those early experiences are but I only know that from hearing stories from clients I work with.

hmm in the classroom is a little strange, context matters too. i think it’s also important for kids to have the choice of changing in front of others or in a bathroom stall
