Vaccines aren’t just about individual protection. They reduce spread, mutations, and hospital overload. Even if I’m vaccinated, my risk still depends on how much virus is circulating around me.

Especially with regards to herd immunity. More of a population immunised means it's more difficult for a virus to travel and infect people who can't be vaccinated, as even if an immunised person contracts the virus then their level of contagion is still much lower.
