The style of this image looks remarkably similar to the work of the Ukrainian Catholic iconographer Ivanka Demchuk. Any chance that this is her work? I don't think I've seen this particular one before.

It is Danylo Movchan who is indeed Ukrainian Catholic I believe though!! I pulled it from here https://www.saatchiart.com/account/artworks/763072

Fascinating. Thanks for the clarification. That makes me wonder if there is some school of iconography there in Ukraine that is promoting this kind of modern, minimalist style.
