Would you pay $1000 to tx in bitcoin? If bitcoin were to 10x from here with all that ETF money, will your tx cost 10x as well? I feel like maybe a high price will also limit network use. nostr:note13ymdf9szxvcd2cuzmr2q5mulnkmulxlt8ksydf48lmucx9xsev8sfwmfc2

There needs to be scaling on other layers and only final settlement on main chain imo

so no plebs, only Saylors, will be doing tx on main chain?

I waiver on this…. If scaling is done correctly I think the need to fully settle goes down and it also reduces over fees on main chain as the layer 2 grows. For near instance finality though I think it will cost but right now what would you pay for that??? Have you sent a wire? $ 15-20 with some decent chance of failing

Better open those LN channels now…

Also…

What do you say to someone in 2123? Enjoy your ecash, only wealth families can transact onchain?

By then I would have hoped we freed up enough time for humanity to produce the genius required to share UTXOs ad infinite. But 🤷‍♂️

I pay my transaction fees in sats. For main chain, up to 200-250 sats/vbyte is ok. Lower costs just speak to less demand
