this is like saying never share anything in a DM that is of importance because you never know the other person's security practices and they could have their password leaked, hacked, or device lost.

this is like saying never trust encryption in general. all personal content can be copied, stored somewhere and then leak

Encryption is only as good as the user’s ability to protect their private key. You know this.
