Shudder to think. Any new insights? My memory of reading a bit about him long ago is that he was an arrogant self-seeking, careerist who sold rationalizations to power for status, though with plausible rationalizations of his own (and under cover of obviously flawed logic). I'd love to get your impression.
🤔 I'm not sure if we are talking about the same book 😅 . Flowers for Algernon is a novel about Charlie Gordon, a man with an intellectual disability who undergoes an experimental surgery to increase his intelligence.
