roll an unreal ircd in a vps or dedicated, and build a mibbit or kiwi irc web widget for them.
unrealircd has been in active development since 1994.... extremely easy to build out.

Signal is light kyc. With keet, for example, you generate an address for people to join the chatroom. You can call, video chat, text and share very large files. Its just not super developed yet.
Yeah I'd stay keet. Sessions was good cause ZERO metadata taken. I think keet is good
