They do but forced to pay taxes is wrong. Especially when you pay taxes for things that you decided not to have. I have friends who dont want kids. They pay for mine though. Its an odd system of taxation.

It’s not, if you want an educated population that is productive and then pays for your DINK friends when they are old and decrepit. Our kids will pay far more taxes and will contribute far more to society, than your childless friends. I’ve got four future earners I’m contributing to the betterment and future of Canada. If your friends opt out, then I guess I get to too. Right? By your reasoning, my kids won’t contribute to their healthcare right?
Good points. So really they are not paying for our kids because our kids will provide way more in taxes back to them in their lifetime. I was thinking too short term! 🤙
That, and they won’t rob them during their younger years, hopefully, because they are educated and gainfully employed 😂
