It's probably because you have the play store version.
There is a way to get the version without translations but I don't know where I saved the link.
I have the play store version but I managed to turn it off, but my friend is unable to do so
You have to do a manual overide by unscrewing the back of the phone and removing the "speech cortex" module.
Yes! I desperately need that. Stop translating everything its annoying!
