Snowcrash forever changed my relationship with all media I consume. The big idea from that book really turned my early 20s world view on its head.

Definitely one of those ideas that I can never unlearn and never be the same person as before.

Highly recommend.

It is nearly a 1000 page book. No single nostr post could do it justice. Get reading or get listening to the audiobook.

I'll read it soon, then come back to continue this conversation! I did read his book "Fall; or, Dodge in Hell", and that gave me a perspective on social media that I felt was very relevant to nostr.

I wasn't sure which Stephenson book to jump into next, but now I'm settled on Snowcrash because I'm fascinated with the author's portrayal of media.
