Wow "bad request"!! That is so strange indeed!! Are you on 0.1.9? Can you try blossom.primal.net ? Also, can you try logging out and logging back in? I suspect the app is in an in-between state where it thinks it can sign but it can't so you'd effectively be in read-only mode.

I was using the Primal blossom server before I added yours. Yep, running 0.1.9. I’ll log out and back in.
