Yeah I moved every year for over 10years, couple years twice in the same year.

4 of those years was in the same country just different towns.

Lived out of my backpack for a year after those 4.

Traveled with my tent & sleeping bag attached to my pack so I could get those experiences in.

Spent time in Africa, Asia, Spain, Italy, Iceland...

What’s your take away?

I was WWOOF ing in between traveling to stack up money - as I had the ability to run my at the time micro business from anywhere.

So I would work for food and housing on farms - getting my first experiences with that too to see if I wanted to start a farm myself.

I also was doing some masters coursework at night as backup plan for my life in case I needed credentials to get a job.

So I wasn't just traveling aimlessly.

With that being said I absolutely loved my time being a nomad.

It had zero stress built into the lifestyle as I wasn't just sitting on a cash pile that was dwindling - I knew my biz would bring in a small amount as long as I could live expense free for a time.

I loved being able to see crazy places I might not be able to explore later in life.

Towards the end of my 12+ months living out of my backup & 10+ years moving around, I was yearning for a home base.

Some people don't need a home base, but I definitely did.

I also needed a place to grow some food & learn to be self sufficient from scratch - as working on an operating farm and starting one are two different energies / skillsets.

I think everyone who yearns for freedom should attempt a nomadic lifestyle - probably the only silver lining in modernity is this possibility being available to many.
