Any recommendations for recipes?

Just mix spices to marinade with Worcestershire, soy, or teriyaki sauce or coconut aminos. Whatever smells good when you mix it. Probably can’t use too much salt. Sugar will let it stay fresh longer without refrigeration, but not needed.

What cut of beef would you recommend?

Round, sirloin, shank, and flank.

Basically lean cuts with minimal fat marbling.

I’ve used pork loin quite a bit. It’s less expensive and you can do larger pieces. Taste is great.

make Biltong instead

I don't remember our recipe but my family loves making and eating it.

One tip I do remember: partially frozen meat is easy to cut into thin slices (or whatever thickness you want).

I’ve had great luck with this one: https://heygrillhey.com/peppered-beef-jerky/ Still in the market for a nice, simple, dry ingredient recipe.

Look into South African biltong spice you can order from the African hut online it’s a million times better than jerky

We also have a thing called chili bites

Skinny strips of beef with a spicy mix on outside you can’t stop eating them

Great with beer

Thanks! Will take a look!
