Partly true. However, network effects and network security by far outweigh any other crypto project. I cannot buy a coffee with Monero, I can basically do almost nothing with it other than to hodl. #bitcoin is different.

Yea, I wouldn't call Monero a normie coin, but I find it the exact opposite. There are so many options for Bitcoiners yet all most Bitcoiners talk about and do is hodl and stack. Not spend (Maybe you aren't one of these). Even on Nostr, the most Bitcoin place ever, most spending is through custodial wallets like WoS. Can you really call that using Bitcoin?
You cant buy a cup of coffee on some street corner (that I know of), but you can definitely buy coffee with Monero and more: https://gratuitas.org/

Obviously I wouldn't count this as spending Monero, but if someone needs it, here are giftcards for anything else:
Alot of exciting things not far down the road. Better XMR atomic swaps for BTC and ETH, SeraiDEX, BasicSwapDEX, HavenoDEX, MoneroSigner, Nostr Monero Client, Seraphis. Too many things to remember and list.
