Your social network / media experience should make you feel better, not worse. If you find that it makes you feel worse, time to curate your following and or take a break.

Some might call that creating your own echo chamber but we don’t spend time irl around people who annoy us, why should it be any different online?

Some opposing views are healthy, but surround yourself with people who don’t drain you.

Or do whatever you want 🤷‍♂️ your mental health …

Very good point. And your right. I don't associate with assholes irl, so why bother with them online. 🫂🫡

💯 I’m convinced that often what people call an “echo chamber” online is just a community. Maybe they don’t like the community, or maybe they do and don’t know how to become part of it. Idk. But I’ve found bitcoiners and nostr users to be anything but an echo chamber. So many diverse people who have challenged me and helped me. I feel no obligation to open my attention up to anyone and everyone simply because they feel they should have it. 😂
