I did that with my Muun address. Shouldn't that work?

Muun can’t zap.

Got it. Switched to Wallet of Satoshi.

The Muun “address” is just an invoice (starts with lnbc…) whereas the address you want either looks like an email (oldestspandex06@walletofsatoshi.com) or a static address (starts with LNURL…)

download Wallet of Satoshi, hit “receive” and then select “Lightning Address” and copy it — then paste to the appropriate field in “edit profile” in your Nostr client (Damus, etc). Then everyone can send you sats ⚡️

Make sure to grab the static address (LNURL) rather than the invoice (lnbc…) like this:

Awesome thanks! Zaps coming through now with WoS.

Strange that Muun did not add yet the feature to create a LNURl, right?

We’ve been asking them for like two years and they keep saying it’s too complicated to do with their architecture or something. Muun doesn’t work like other Lightning wallets, so maybe it’s just not a priority for them. They will end up having to add it or people will stop using it.

Totally agree. I'm not an expert, but I believe they are loosing a huge opportunity right now.

Lightning has been waiting for the perfect use case. Now that it’s here, the best wallet user experiences will rise to the top.

Exactly. I like Muun wallet, it's super easy to use and simple. I wonder if they already know about Nostr.

One time I ate a oreo without milk and it made me cry.

For the love of nostrich please don’t revive this thread’s notifications 😳

Yes. Before Nostr I had not used lightning even once, but since I joined Nostr I have zapped dozens of people after seeing posts I liked.

Muun works well sending extra sats to my WOS to zap around tho 😅

That’s still it’s best feature. Getting in and out of on-chain to Lightning.

Just want.. the best in l2 is yet to come with fedimints!

I use muun also, but when I got here I learned it didn’t zap, so now i use WOS for nostr.

No, like I said. I thought the same thing. You need an NIP57 address, and you get that through Stacker.News and a few other places.
