I got complacent and lots a TON of data and content yesterday.

The question is - should I take it into local Best Buy or find a smaller computer company to try and restore it?

This is shit I think about a lot and know disaster is always close.
It’s a bad scene.
It’s not 100% gone yet but it does not look promising.
It was data on an external hard drive that was working Friday night when I went to bed.
And when I woke up Saturday morning it was no longer there.
Big loss including an edit I worked on for 3 days last week. 😬
