Like it would even be rad to have two accounts (public and private). One just shares with closer/chosen friends and the other one with everyone

Yep, agreed. Although what I really want is the ability to properly block, that is blacklist people so they cannot be served my content. I understand though how the decentralized nature of the protocol makes it basically impossible though.
