I’ve noticed there is a disconnect between highly technical bitcoin developers and average app users. One insists on doing things the proper way and the other just wants things to work.

UX has always been and will be a deciding factor in whether something succeeds or fails.

People want simple, working products. They don’t care about the tech under the hood.

Absolutely true for product and I see this with bitcoin companies website copy and marketing as well. Too much jargon and lack of narrative. The ability to introduce them to your value proposition without requiring them to google things is crucial to success. This is a big part of why I launched The Agency. 🫡

Couldn’t agree more. Love that your helping the Bitcoin community become more human-centered. There is nothing stronger than a story. (Well maybe smell…but we need some future technology for our phones to emit smells 😬😶‍🌫️)

People who don't care can just use Facebook and be happy

I might have a slight technical bias here, but if we try to make things work, without them being technically sound in the first place, we end up with a mess. A shiny product that sucks or is probably not ultimately good for the user (legacy SM). A good UX is definitely what the user wants, but making it proper is what they need.

All other things equal

I like that so far nostr seems to be the place where devs and avg users can connect

I will shout this from the mountain tops…I’m am incredibly thankful for the highly technical bitcoin developers…no doubt! (Because I am not one, yet I benefit from their work)

🙏🏻🙏🏻

(And a Zap as thank you)

Oh yeah me 2. No disrespect meant.

None taken…I’m thankful everyday as I thoroughly enjoy both Bitcoin and nostr. 🤙🏻

what I want is…

it’s simple

it works

we invite you too look under the hood

we make it easy for you to find the non affiliated people looking under

we invite them to call us out
