inflation is a hidden tax. this is why so many people feel so blindsided by it, but tis ultimately the result of deficit spending through loans.

Agree..but would you consider classifying inflation as outright theft from the government?

I don't think I would. Because there are too many steps between government action and a loss of purchasing power. You only get a clear image if you zoom out and look at the entire system. Most people can't really do that, and we can't pinpoint any one decision or legislation or bill or signature as "the" cause.

Of course, now that we DO have a clear image of the entire system, the answer is obvious. The challenge is to get anyone (ANY ONE) in government to realize it and do something concrete to fix it.

I think you talked yourself into agreeing in the end that inflation is full on theft. Yeah I can see why its so hard for people to see, its seems like all the layers and steps are deliberate, to cause enough confusion, to stop people delving further.

I have trouble believing that civilization destroying levels of evil are deliberate choices. It's just a matter of people who can see the forest for the trees that keep charging ahead in total darkness without heeding or understanding the consequences of their actions.

The issue is that we've literally seen this movie before. Many times. We need people in office who are tired of watching it.

CAN'T see the forest for the trees...

Majority don't ask enough question, its above my pay grade excuse assume person with higher authority / expert will know, surely they investigated thoroughly. Everyone assumes everyone else has done their job properly. No one has and we get a big mess, everyone forgets how we got there. Yeah I hope its not a conspiracy evil intent. That would be horrible.

Inflation is daylight robbery, dressed up in... i don't know what. Confuse people enough to stop them from inquiring. Government are total tossers!

I honestly wonder if we would have as clear of a picture of what Inflation actually is and what it actually does without Bitcoin to give us an alternative. Because Gold just wasn't doing the job.

Yeah good point. Golds been around for ages. It took bitcoin for me to make the effort and understand why things are so bad.
