You can add your lightning terminal custodial wallet to Zeus and UJ that way. Conversely, you can connect your Alby to Zeus, as well.
Some of us already run lightning nodes at home (Start9 or Umbrel) and would like to use it as our daily driver for zaps, as well as host wallets with little fuss for our family, who aren't interested in learning how to do self-custody lightning for themselves.
Also, has nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 solved offline receiving for their node-on-the-phone option?
Alby Hub, even in the cloud, lets you do all of the above very easily. I don't think Zeus currently has any way to be an Uncle Jim for your family.

Not necessarily zeus comes with sn embedded node in their app but thats different to the one you connect toom your node, within the alby hub there are some LSPs are recommended even for smaller amounts which serve well as an initial node connection
We put a lot of work in making it easy for everybody to take control over their own bitcoin with Alby Hub. More improvements coming soon. Zeus is a great LSP in Alby Hub.
Yes indeed its a great solution, btw when i create in albyhub a private connection is it possible within the hub to put in a balance or is it only possible from a wallet outside the hub?
I think the point was to do it using Zeus's self custody service WITHOUT having to run a node separately.
If you're using nostr:nprofile1qqsrf5h4ya83jk8u6t9jgc76h6kalz3plp9vusjpm2ygqgalqhxgp9gpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9ekxzmnyqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wvfskueq555fk2 self-custody service, there's anyway no point to connect it to nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4
Not that I am aware of.
Ah. In that case, as stated elsewhere, just open a lightning channel with Alby, or any node, from Zeus. Look up node addresses on 1m.com
So... That may improve your self-custodial Zeus wallet/node's liquidity, but it doesn't do anything to enable Alby Hub's features for your Zeus wallet/node.
#albyhub (albyhub.com) solved offline receiving which is great for receiving zaps 24/7.
You can use it for free on Umbrel or Start9. You can connect your Alby account to Zeus and use Zeus to pay on the go.
Yes, but when you do this, you are NOT using Zeus's self-custody node - on - the - phone. You are essentially just using Zeus as a mobile interface for your Umbrel or Start9 node.
We have been talking about trying to use the node-on-a-phone option from Zeus with Alby Hub. To my knowledge, there is no way to do this.
Or rather, as an interface for a particular wallet hosted on your Start9 or Umbrel node.
You can use an LND node as a funding source for Alby Hub. I don't know if Zeus allows allows such connections.
A remote LND instance can be a funding source? The only version I know of that uses an existing LND node as a funding source is by installing nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub on your Start9 or Umbrel node, but in that case it would be using the local LND instance as the funding source, not a remote one.
Even IF that was a possibility, the user experience would be pretty rough, since the node it is attached to would not be online 24/7. Node-on-a-phone solutions suffer from mobile operating systems aggressively killing background processes.
