“Normies” need #bitcoin even if they don’t know it. The goal should not be to ignore their need and pretend it doesn’t exist, or to act as if bitcoin is a taboo topic, but rather the goal is to make the qualities of bitcoin that will benefit people more apparent to them. That way they internalize and personalize their adoption of it. Anyone who pretends bitcoin is an optional choice in today’s world is a very privileged person and only reveals how little they understand bitcoin and the world in which we live.

Normies don't make their decisions that way. They look to the herd for everything - and will do anything at all to conform to the herd, however cruel, ridiculous or harmful to themselves or others.

The only way they would consider your arguments (or anyone's) is if they thought you were informing them of the herd's position on bitcoin - which you're clearly not.

Give someone the facts and if there's any hope for them they'll work it out for themselves - if not you are completely wasting your time.

“Give someone the facts” implies talking about it.

This is the motive behind our free #bitcoin stickers. Each sticker links to an educational page and we get about 1,000 scans per month!

Perhaps. But #Bitcoin is also an intelligence test and you can't fix stupid.

I prefer Satoshi's take: “If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.”
