I can see it being a thing. People have difficulty finding significant others. And with an online girlfriend, there’s no arguments, no dating, etc… It’s sad

Well in Gen Z's defense we were all taught that interacting with women is misogyny, and rape, that masculinity is evil, while our bodies were bombarded with fake foods, and microplastics that lowered our testosterone levels.
So really, it's just the product of incentives, interacting with women isn't worth the career that feeds you, and unfortunately those careers pay subpar wages but being alive is preferred at the cost of loneliness.
