Random though, but ubiquitous social has made us dumber, or at least less creative.
We all see and share the shame shit. So, while we may be “more informed,” we’re much less knowledgeable because we’re constantly regurgitating the same shit.

It’s not all for not. With all wisdom and knowledge you have to wade through the low hanging fruit and shit, to find that once piece, or one person who can change the way you view and understand the world. But yes, there’s a lot of shit to wade through.

I tend to avoid boosting and retweeting stuff for this reason. I figure if I see something more than likely every one of my followers saw it too.
