Sunglasses?

You get the most direct source of Vitamin D from sunlight through the eyes first and skin second. 20 minutes a day is the recommendation.
I spend prolonged periods of time outside working in the sun. Should I not wear sunglasses at all or just for the first twenty minutes that I spend outside?
I personally would only use them to prevent sun glare when I needed to see what I was doing--like driving or reading. I don't even own a pair--but our circumstances are different.
