We should be using it for goods and services or else what's the point.

Facts that’s why I also zap. To use BITCOIN AS A MEANS OF P2P money as Satoshi intended.
People also spend their savings accounts when it’s needed.
With Bitcoin it can be very liquid and spendable and be used as both and investment account and a savings account.
I make monthly purchases, and while some goes to long-term savings, some also goes to vendors that accept bitcoin. I pay for a personal paid relay, access to nostr.wine's inbox relay, access to nostr.wine's filter relay, top-ups for nostr.wine's cellar relay, expenses related to my lightning node, and a monthly top-up of my zap fund. So, I'm contributing to Bitcoin's ecosystem while also directing sats to my cold wallet. I find it easier to manage by having a system, and just adhering to it. If you do, you'll cover your bases pretty much automatically.
Fair point. I think the onboarding process was bonkers AF for me.
But it would have been. 1. Not a techie 👩🏻💻 ( modern one ) 2. Ill equipped to handle the onslaught of modern day internet & stupidity & ignorance constantly spewed. Truly.
3. Never will feel bad for sending #bitcoin to others but did learn
A. Annually isn’t the way.
Everything speaks how all of this should be so obvious to everyone. It’s not.
Yeah, it's not intuitive, especially for non-tech people. There are aspects that are more easily grasped by techies, but for those who aren't experienced with technology, and development, it's not a process that immediately makes sense. The onboarding process should definitely be made more accessible to all users.
