What happened to vertical farming and why it is not that popular yet even after six years?

The answers centralized media dont want to assume as true:

Erosion of purchasing power due to emission of fiat money and tax increases, state regulations which increases costs by a much, agricole subsidies to state's preferred large producers.

Also there is waay to much land available for it be needed...

Horizontal farming is too bad for fragile vegetables and freight costs sucks too

I wonder the same about sprouted fodder systems
