They are no more responsible than the fool traders, earlier Mt. Gox users who left their coins on the exchange, and modern day custodial users of all generations. The supply issuance of Bitcoin was perfect. Over 19 million were issued before there was even an ETF. ETFs aren't the issue. Hubris and ignorance are.

Thing is though as they allocate that capital to non productive pursuits as they always do that bitcoin finds its way back into our hands... they can't cheat in this system. So we win anyway
