How do we fix seeing accounts that continually flood our streams with content we don’t necessarily want to see
Example: ai generated girl pics using #plebchain
Obviously unfollowing the account doesn’t work and don’t want to unfollow plebchain

Ya, I think it'll be possible. Say with relays for example. Someone very plebtastic with some plebfluence runs a relay and has a swarm of other plebs as moderators, who block and delete events by reporting them. Some may cry 'muh censorship' but it's not censorship, it's just creating a pleasing feed that a set of individuals agree is what they want. Then you have a clean plebchain feed that has no spammers clogging up the spirit of the hashtag that the group agrees on 🚀
relay.tools can do this now, and once I implement paid relay support this will help for the mods so they don't have a torrent of new keys coming at them too quickly..
Prob gonna need clients to also help expose nice UIs for relays instead of hiding it away.. like a relay set *just for plebchain.. that type of thing.
Still early, spam hasn't quite arrived yet in the amounts I think it will, but it's gonna come eventually. Reply spam, hashtag spam, public relays will be a raging river of it (kinda like how nostr chat rooms were DOA cause spam took them over).
The first thing that needs to be worked on is kid safe relays then work up from there I think
I block the idiots that post AI images ever 30 mins and destroy my hashtags.

That's easy, just block the account.
Blocking account does not fix. Please reread
On the contrary, blocking is the only way; once moderation is moved from the realm of the individual, centralization is increased and it becomes easier to censor. Besides, just because you don't like what some account posts on a hashtag, doesn't mean others dislike it.
Now shareable blocklists could help, or blocking being a published event, like SSB does. But it has to remain within the realm of the individual to moderate their feed, otherwise we're just back to another Twitter/Facebook/whatever centralized platform.
I'd like to see a way to separate my followed npubs verses my followed hashtags.
