I question his intelligence or his motives if he can't figure out a use case. Either way, he shouldn't be in any position of power.
Most specious argument I hear.
Suppose the Argentine government outlawed dollars and charged felonies for using them in transactions to force people to use the peso and take the hyperinflation penalty. Does that mean the dollar is worthless? Of course not it’s a savings vehicle in that scenario.
