Pardon my ignorance.
I am a huge Tolkien fan and an familiar with the pipeweed names. My question is, are the name from the books based on real world varieties or are the names of the local varieties based on the books.
Tolkien real world sometimes snuck into his writing...
These are modern blends that have been named after the varieties in the book.
