I think you are very confused about what freedom is.

Being berated and treating like vile human garbage every day vs being a princess treated like royalty and married to a handsome prince that may be a dumb fuck, but seems to genuinely love her.
That is the comparison we are making here.
Nothing in life is perfect, but to say that she had it better off before is beyond masochistic.

Given her two states of being before marriage and after marriage. One was a state of slavery and the other was one of luxury. I answered honestly, because your assertion is wildly insane. If you would like to state your position on the topic and convince me otherwise. Go for it. Always willing to change my mind, but from my perspective your perspective is pretty fucked up.
