Replying to Neopatriarch

> "If only because your definition of freedom implies freedom to rape, murder and pillage."

Not at all.

You must be deriving that from your own definition. Freedom does not grant the rights to do that which is immoral.

Yes, Free people have Rights.

Rights are permissionless.

But sex without permission would be rape. There is no case in which rape is a right. The victim retains the right to self defense. Defense doesn't require the State.

Murder is morally wrong by definition. Again, self defense is a right. Rights are permissionless and do not require a State.

Of course, pillaging is not a Right, self defense is... You get the point.

It's the State that protects rapists, murderers, and pillagers.

Police aren't even processing rape kits. Many in storage are from the late 70s

The State is the employer of many murderers, and the defenders of many more. Nor are they obligated to protect you from murder.

As for pillaging, some states condone raids of less than $500. In Baltimore MD the police were committing armed robbery in uniform. So the State isn't a solution, in many ways they are the perpetrators.

For example: Asset forfeiture alone steal more property, than all grand larceny combined every year.

Free people have Rights, but no one has the Right to do that which is immoral.

I hope that clears things up.
