...or festivals....crowd camping...or smoking pot....
Looking for people who can carry on conversations sober. I'm more introverted.... Not shy.... Just don't enjoy huge crowded events...

You have me all wrong, I make a conscience attempt to focus on my mindset, this way I can have fun no matter the situation
I don't need to alter my brain chemically, I can mentally do it
I never close myself off to possibilities and experiences
I am an introvert and I place myself in uncomfortable situations until I feel comfortable and confident
The people I know who go to festivala are generally into getting high on things other than the music. So I did make a generalization about festival attendee profiles. Didn't say that you or everyone at the festival was like that.
When I go to parties or hang with people who are all high on (whatever) ...me being sober or only having had 1 drink, makes for a very boring time... I'm not in that energy and it's not fun.
Kudos to you if you've found that vibe to be fun and a great way to meet people. 🙌
I do try things out of my comfort zone and go to a lot of things by myself (even though I'm an introvert)....I went to line dancing bar by myself last month to learn dancing....
My preference is for physical activity.... If I'm camping, I want to be in the woods and hiking near a waterfall.... And as I said... Not interested in EDM so those festivals are not for me.
There are many different types festivals and the ones, I've attended focus on health and wellness, they offer a variety of music, activities (yoga classes) and have hiking trails and lakes for swimming
You don't have to listen to any music if you don't want too
