This is true. I see a common misunderstanding on Nostr - that algorithms are not desired. For regular consumption, sure, but creators actually benefit from algorithms and virality. It's better to have one piece of content go viral than create 100 that does mostly nothing.

Virality is a mechanism that rewards creativity so being able to surface creative content is important - otherwise creators have no reason to create on your platform.
