The benefit of Linux.

I need a dedicated machine to try SuSE Aeon on.

Dualboot?

Aeon specifically doesn’t support dual boot. They’re going for an immutable, flatpak only “just works” experience to give a real, open, competition to ChromeOS.

May try it in a VM for now.

As an #arch user since forever I implore you to consider #Endeavor instead.

But welcome to the best OS either way.

Prepare to have things break randomly. Arch was much better for me.

not exactly a ringing endorsement 😂 i tried installing librewolf for source and from bin and kept getting gpg errors even after trusting the keys so i may be experiencing some of what you’re talking about lmfao

They just tend to include their own changes. Which in my experience were less than stable. Arch can break too but you'll generally get a warning from archlinux.org.

I switched to nixos recently and totally love it. No more inconvenient breaking changes and I can roll anything back at any time.
