Just tried giving a homeless person a bottle of cold water. He didn't want it.
Anybody know why he wouldn't take it? 🤔

sometimes they aren’t on the street by free will. sometimes there are human trafficking groups behind it so if they accept anyting else than money they’ll be punished
Yeah I've heard stories like that before, like the mothers with babies on the street? Dunno if this was the case now. I watched the guy digging in the trashbin for 5 mins and he was wearing only pants, which were mote hole then pants.

He wasn't looking for water. Why do you assume that he would want your water? It seems like you really wanted him to accept your water. Why is that so important to you? If you offered a bottle of water to a non-homeless stranger, and they refused, would you feel the same way as you do about this homeless person?

Same thing happened to me but with food. He said he was hungry so I offered him a sandwich. The guy said he preferred cash. Maybe he was hungry for drugs
Yeah thats might as well be, in my homecountry we have a rule of thumb to only buy food if people ask you for money because unfortunately most homeless folks there are also addicted to herion 😔
I totally agree. I apply the same logic. Can’t assume they’re telling the truth. Sad but true 😢
Alcoholics don’t drink water
From what I’ve heard, some homeless people don’t want your “trash” they rather have money so they can decide what to buy later.
I once bought a muffin at starbucks in Canada. To give it to a homeless woman who was sitting right in front of that Starbucks, she was SOOOO thankful, wow.
