Passenger Zeppelins : a memory from a utopian timeline 1900-1937

- first flight in 1900 , banned in 1937 after it crashed in New jersey

- extremely large and wide , 800ft longer than 3 Boeing 747 lined up

-The inside was like a flying luxury cruise with lounges restaurants , fine dining areas , cabines beds and full kitchen preparing the food in the air , smoking was safe

- silent and smooth flight , low fuel consumption, mainly hydrogen

- could hover for days with no energy

- completed the first around the world tour with an airship , had a dedicated airlines that was servicing multiple countries

My gosh, what a marvel that must of been. I remember seeing more blimps in the sky as a kid. Mostly Advertisers. Where have they all gone?

Ikr ! Banned after the Hinderburg New jersey incident where it crashed and killed 37 people , they started using Hydrogen instead of Helium which was more dangerous , but they were already advancing in making them solar powered , but it never panned out because the industry completely switched to funding passenger airplanes development instead

It just looks so peaceful and surreal to fly in. I bet it was quiet and luxurious. Nothing like today’s travel.

I know 🥹🥹 I’m obsessed with, hope they make some sort of comeback

My goodness, I love these things!💖 I've been waiting all my life for them to come back...

We need them!😃

Now!!!😁🚀🔥🥰

Yess ! My dream is they came up with residential one lol , I wanna live full time in one of them , and just move around cities when needed lol

Then, m'Dear, you might love this website:

Yea! A flying yacht or a flying RV.

When the Fourth Reich arrives, we shall have great things such as this again.

I prefer the Led variety.

We Bitcoiners will build these again!

It's basically a submarine in the sky. Just different pressure/weight distribution.

I think it uses way less fuel than a submarine . Also Looking over cities instead of deep mostly opaque water is 👌

It's obviously not at the same level, but the Amtrak Coast Starlight is a bit of a similar experience -- "slow travel", but highly scenic and comfortable.
