PFAs are toxic waste tho. would be really good if people would stop using them for stuff.

it's not for nothing they are making a fuss about this. almost every other type of plastic can be recycled. i'd also say that a recycling facility for PTFE and other PFAs would be a toxic waste accident waiting to happen, just like the labs are.

fluorine is one of the nastiest of God's creations. possibly more evil than the devil herself.

Idk, it has a place though. If the market were free, we'd see much more efficient selection of chemicals.

it's useful in laboratories but quartz and borosilicate glass and silicon oil are more important, it's in general in labs a replacement for more expensive materials.
